Old Skirt, New again

So, let's just say, I'm pretty proud of myself. I hemmed a skirt!! I have two skirts that I NEVER wear because they are simply too long and hit me at an awkward spot.

This past weekend I thought to myself, "Why not try to hem one of them? You're not wearing it anyways so what will it hurt if it comes out horrendous?" So, that's what I did....and took pictures all along the way ;)

Wow. It's been awhile, eh? Well, where have I been and what have I been up to?

Oh you know, it's summertime and I've been playing. One of my best buddies moved back to town and I've spent quite a bit of time with her. I've hooked her on this crafty thing I've got going on, so we've been doing plenty of craft shopping and pillow making among the grilling out and bummin' around.
